13 Days China & Yangtze fr £1696 - Itinerary
Day 01 Beijing
Arrive in Beijing, where you will be met & transferred to the hotel in the city center of Beijing. Free at leisure in the afternoon.
Day 02 Beijing(B/L)
Full day tour to the Great Wall, take time to enjoy the splendid view from the wall.
If time permits, we will also visit The 2008 Beijing Olympic site: The Bird Nestle, The Water cubic; (Outside only, entrance optional)
Day 03 Beijing(B/L/D)
Today we visit The Summer Palace in the morning & visit the Temple of Heaven and The Forbidden City in the afternoon. This evening you will be treated with a delicious Peking Roast Duck dinner.
Day 04 Beijing(B)
Free at leisure, you may like to do some window shopping at Wangfujing Street- a famous pedestrian only shopping street.
Day 05 Beijing/Xi’an(B/L)
In the morning, we take the morning flight to Xi’an. Upon arrival, be met and transferred to your hotel. Have city tours to the Ancient City Wall. Enjoy the Tang Dynasty show in the evening.(optional)
The Ancient City Wall: An extension of the old Tang Dynasty structure boasting the most complete city wall that survived through Chinese long history.
The Tang Dynasty show(optional): The show that presents the beautiful palace dances and sings in the Tang Dynasty when Xian was the capital.
Day 06 Xi’an(B/L)
Visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses,and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
The Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses: The greatest archaeological findings of the century: the army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin's Tomb.
Day 07 Xi’an/Chongqing(B)
Free at morning, then take the afternoon flight to Chongqing for the evening cruise down on the Yangtze River. Embark about 20:00.
Day 08 Yangtze river Cruising(B/L/D)
Sailing down on Yangtze. Shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost Town. Sailing through Xiling Gorge.
Day 09 Yangtze river Cruising(B/L/D)
Sailing through Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge. Excursion to the Lesser three Gorges.
Day 10 Yichang/ Shanghai (B/L)
Arrive in Yichang in the afternoon. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Shanghai.
Day 11 Shanghai (B/L)
Morning tour of the Shanghai Museum. Visit to the Yu market & a relaxing walk at the bund. Enjoy the fantastic Acrobatic Show.
Day 12 Shanghai (B)
A day for shopping at famous Nanjing pedestrians only road, or you may have a day free to explore.
Day 13 Shanghai departure (B)
Transfer to the airport for next destination. Service ends.
